I AM surprised I still get visits and comments on this blog, seeing how long it has remained inactive. Perhaps, on 2nd thoughts, ill just go back to answering questions?

Lately, I haven’t got much time to play around on my iPod, but I’ve finally got wifi. Because this blog was previously devoted to those who (most regrettably and unfortunately) dont have wifi, several things will now be changing…

As you might have noticed, Ive spent hours and hours trying to find a work-around to do stuff that required wifi (eg downloading cydia apps) . Now I just cant be bothered, when I can zip directly onto cydia or something, and download directly from there. No more cyder, no more USB-wifi, no more manual installations and no more openSSH. Screw the lot

So, plainly, there is no more point in continuing this blog (except for the benefit of those who DONT have wifi…). While I will answer a question from time to time, I dont think anything new will appear here – ive explored deep into the region of iPod-touch-with-wifi-only, but these will be useless to you guys who dont have wifi (eg, having a fully functional, free, SIP-VOIP phone app, and the ability to make completely free calls to any land-line in several countries (YEY, I ACTUALLY FOUND A GOOD FREE SIP PROVIDER!! ) as well as many other crap and stuff…)

Oh BTW, Im going to update my list of best ipod touch apps to accommodate the extra cool changes now existing in 3.0 models

P.S. Ive also found a repo to give you cracked CYDIA COMMERCIAL APPS e.g. bite SMS, swirly SMS, gpsPhone 6.x, NES 3, yxflash, universal search, etc. u name it, i hav it

Jailbroken iPod touch 2g 3.0!

the day has come (actually it came yesterday) but I’ve managed to jailbreak my ipod touch 2g 3.0! yay. Posting a tutorial ASAP.

It was sweet. Bluetooth, incredible speed and everything. Best of all… it was FREE!
