Project name: WinTouch theme

Current status: Development stopped

Notes: I’m making a new theme now. This windows mod theme is just a vista theme that has being ‘windownised’. You can easily download the original theme from Cydia. The only special part of it is the home made lockscreen and start button function. You can just copy the following files into paint or something and save it. To use the start button function, you must have categories, and a layout simialr to mine.  I modded the original theme so the start icon corresponds to my start categories app. SSH into your ipod, look for the start.app in the folder /applications and replace the default and background images with my one. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE PROPORTIONS OR IT WILL NOT WORK. Oh, and you also need a blank app that can be added to categories. Please see below for the blank app project.

Layout:  add into categories the following files IN ORDER (blank.app, settings, winterboard, appflow)

Current status: under development

Notes: this is a blank app that can be added to categories. It is similar to webclips, except that it doesn’t open when you click on it.

Bugs: For some reason, when you click on this app in categories, it just brings you back to your springboard. I’m trying to find out how to get rid of that. Meanwhile, you can use it as a  quit categories button .

Download: no need. Just follow installation instructions.

Installation: copy the following into notepad/equivalent and save as info.plist

Open up notepad again and save a blank file as icon.png.

SSH into your ipod, and go into the /applications folder. Create a new folder named Blank.app and copy your info.plist and icon.png into that folder. MAKE SURE THAT THE FILE EXTENSIONS ARE CORRECT. If not, then change it. The purpose of creating an icon from notepad is to make it blank, so you cant see it. If you can, CHMOD (change file permissions) with finder, ifile, or whatever to 775 the info.plist file. Respring, and there you have it, a blank app. (Note: you CANT see your blank app cause its blank duh… but when you open categories, you can.
